Fire Emblem / Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War was originally published in Enix's Super Comic Gekijoh Magazine from 1996 to 1998. Fire Emblem (vol 2), Fire Emblem II (vol 5), and Fire Emblem III (vol 7) make up the original set of three compilation manga based on the Fire Emblem franchise.

Each volume contains a mixture of serious and comedic comics. The comics should be viewed as fan tributes, rather than novelizations of the first few Fire Emblem games. There are some full color pages at the beginning of each volume but most of the manga is in black and white.

Please note that the manga is in Japanese and contains little to no English text. It never received an official English translation.
